Calculations run locally

Every calculator on Maple Fairways runs locally in your browser, on your device. The numbers you type are never sent to us, never stored on a server, and never shared with anyone. Close the page and they are gone.

What the site itself collects: no personal data

Maple Fairways has no accounts, no sign up forms, no comments and no checkout. The site itself collects no personal data, and it never asks for your name, email address or any other identifier.

Analytics: Google Analytics 4, described honestly

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which calculators people use, roughly where visitors come from, and where pages can be improved. Google Analytics sees standard technical information such as the pages visited, the type of device and browser, and an approximate location at the city level. It sets its own cookie, the _ga cookie, to tell visits apart.

That analytics never sees your calculations. As noted above, every calculator runs entirely in your browser, and the numbers and scores you enter are never sent anywhere by the calculators themselves.

No advertising trackers run on this site: no advertising scripts, advertising cookies or social media pixels. If advertising is ever added, this policy will be updated first, before any advertising partner is switched on.

Like any website, the hosting provider may keep basic technical logs, such as the page requested and the time, for security and operation. These are not used to profile visitors.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on Google publishes for that purpose, and you can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. Every calculator on this site keeps working with analytics blocked or cookies off.

The one thing your browser remembers

If you switch between metric and imperial, your browser saves that one preference on your own device, using local storage, so the site opens the way you left it. It stays on your device. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser site data.

External services

Other than Google Analytics 4, described above, this site loads no external fonts, scripts, or content delivery networks. The calculators and everything they need are served with the site itself.

Contact

If you write to us once our mailbox opens, we will use your message only to reply to you. See the Contact page for the current status of the mailbox.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top.

Maple Fairways is a Mississippi Maple company.

One technical note: the analytics configuration file on this site carries a real Google Analytics 4 measurement ID and an unfilled placeholder for a second service. Only Google Analytics 4 loads. The placeholder loads nothing.
