Maple Fairways
A Mississippi Maple company

About

Small golf tools, done properly.

Maple Fairways is the golf unit of Mississippi Maple, a holding company whose units are calculator first software companies. We start with the sums golfers actually do on a scorecard, in a group chat, or in the parking lot before a round, and we make them instant, clear, and hard to get wrong.

That is why this site exists. Our first products are the eight free calculators on the home page: an unofficial course handicap estimator, an unofficial score differential calculator, a Stableford points calculator, a skins pot splitter, an altitude translator, an unofficial handicap index estimator, an unofficial net score and match strokes calculator, and a tournament payout splitter. They run entirely in your browser, work in metric and imperial, and need no account.

Where we are headed

Our wider mission is to build tools and software for parts of golf that big platforms tend to skip. All of the following are in development, and none of them are available yet:

Simulator golf leagues

Simple league tools for indoor and simulator golf: schedules, standings, and scoring that a league organizer can run from a phone without a spreadsheet.

Women and girls in golf

Tools that help programs, coaches, and groups welcome more women and girls into the game, and keep them playing once they start.

Adaptive golf

Accessible first software for adaptive golf, designed so that planning a round, a lesson, or a group outing works for every golfer, with clear text, large targets, and no clutter.

Group trips

Planning tools for golf trips with friends: courses, costs, games, and who owes what, kept in one simple place.

An honest note on what exists today

Today, the calculators on this site are the whole product. Everything described above is in development. We will not claim a product exists before it does, and when new tools launch, they will appear here first.

One more promise, because it matters: our handicap related tools are unofficial, always. They are for friendly games and league fun, never official handicaps. Official handicaps come from golf associations and clubs, not from us.
